Slugs August 14th/2010-Day#1-
This is the start of my slug journal. I have two nice sized leapord slugs that i got at my grandma's. I didn't even look for them they where just slimming around like, well like slugs do!
Now these slugs aren't full grown but if i remember correctly, these don't have to be full grown to breed and create more slugs. These things can get out of control quite quickly. Of course thats
what i want to have happen! Why??? So i can just what slugs CAN anyway thats just an update i'm gonna go get some nice old fashion food for the slugs soon.
-Till next update!

Faveorite Plants For Feeding Pet Slugs
This is another blog post on plants and slugs only its meant as a good thing to only the slugs not the plants. This will be about what plants are best to help out your little sluggy friends.
Mainly slugs will eat anything green but if they have the chance here is their faveorite plants:
-Hosta
-Dandelion
-Butterfly plants
-Clovers
-Flower petals of any kind
-Grass
Of course this is just a start they will eat other things but thats just what lepord slugs seem to love the most! Hopefully you learned something from this!
Oh, and on more thing make sure the plants haven't been sprayed with insecticide or slug control stuff.
-Until next post!

Slugs!
So what has been breeding like mad out this summer? Well if you have a gardner friend or relitive they'll most likely say that the slugs are breeding like mad. At least around here they are breeding like mad. I've found at least ten a day so far! The big thing is i'm not even looking for slugs they just slither around! These are the big 2-4 inch lepord slugs too so they can damage a ton of plants in a short time. These slugs can have a good attribute they can eat eachother so thats a good thing to help control them, but obvously that won't help if you are a gardener.
Anyway thats it for this short blog post!

A Random topic on slugs
Okay so i came up with a plan to keep slugs. Here is my plan:
Keep the slugs in or around a window durin the summer[not so much as to cook them to death] and during the winter months keep them hidden from view until winter, this should keep them as natural as possible and hopefully they start breeding soon.
